Born and raised in Omaha, Mr. Lenaghan received his undergraduate and legal education at St. Louis University. Mr. Lenaghan also earned a certificate in health law from the Center for Health Law Studies, frequently ranked as one of the nation’s best health law programs. From 2003 to 2015, Mr. Lenaghan was associated with another Omaha insurance defense firm. As a law clerk and associate, he handled various matters related to business and civil litigation before specializing in the area of worker’s compensation.   In 2009, Mr. Lenaghan completed the IADC Trial Academy at Stanford University.

Mr. Lenaghan is admitted to all Nebraska state Courts and to the U.S. District Court of Nebraska.   He is a member of the Nebraska Bar Association, the Omaha Bar Association, and the Nebraska Defense Counsel Association.

Mr. Lenaghan now exclusively advises Nebraska employers and insurance companies in all areas of workers’ compensation law, including non-litigated file review and negotiation, litigation, mediation, settlements, and appeals. He has represented clients in courts throughout the state, defending claims for permanent total disability, dependent death benefits, and significant lifetime medical benefits.   Before the Nebraska Court of Appeals, he successfully argued a dismissal of a claim for benefits by an independent contractor.

Mr. Lenaghan is proud of his client relationships and makes frequent educational presentations on all areas of workers’ compensation and subrogation law. Ever mindful of the challenges facing employers and insurers in a changing legal landscape, he strives to offer practical solution-based advice to his clients and to utilize cost-efficient litigation strategies.
