James is an experienced litigator, well-versed in construction negligence, elevator liability, premises liability, transportation-related matters, coverage disputes and general liability matters.  He also routinely handles complex and catastrophic claims, such as wrongful death, traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries and dismemberment.  James has successfully represented several major corporations on both state and federal courts.

Before earning his law degree from Loyola University Chicago School of Law, James graduated from Dominican University of California in the top one percent of his class.  He is a member of Alpha Chi National College Honor Scholarship Society and Alpha Sigma Lambda National Honor Society.

Originally from Seattle Washington area, James lived many years in the San Francisco Bay, before relocating to Chicago, Illinois.  In his twenties, James fronted his own blues band and has employed and played with many nationally known blues musicians.  Currently, James lives in Elkhorn, Nebraska with his wife, Holly, where they enjoy the emerging restaurant scene.
