With over 16 years of practice experience in civil litigation, insurance defense, personal injury, and risk management, Mr. Aguilar brings a wealth of knowledge to the Sodoro Law Group.  While in private practice, Mr. Aguilar handled a wide range of practice areas including criminal law, domestic relations, tribal law, insurance defense, and civil litigation before turning his focus to risk management within the corporate insurance space.

While his primary practice area over the past 10 years has been insurance risk management and insurance defense, Mr. Aguilar’s initial passion and practice area was civil litigation with significant experience in litigating claims against insurance companies.  His “plaintiff mindset” and skillset gives him unique perspective to defend his insurance clients to achieve the best results and to assist his insurance clients in minimizing their risk exposure.

Mr. Aguilar is licensed to practice law in the State of South Dakota and the Unites States District Court for the District of South Dakota.
