Attorney Lyndsey Canning argued in front of the Nebraska Supreme Court on October 29, 2019. The case involved the appeal of a decision from the Nebraska Workers’ Compensation Court to deny approval of a Lump Sum Settlement. The Nebraska Supreme Court released its Opinion on January 24, 2020, where it ruled that the Court lacked jurisdiction, and dismissed the appeal.
