Esmeralda earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Nebraska College of Law, where she served as 1L Class Representative and was a member of the Women’s Law Caucus, Hispanic Law Students Association, and the Space, Cyber, and Telecommunications Club.
Throughout law school, Esmeralda received 3 CALI awards for earning the highest grade in the class in Prison Law, Externship Experience, and Native American Law.
During law school, Esmeralda gained valuable practical workers’ compensation experience through clerking and externships.
Prior to attending law school, Esmeralda graduated from the University of Nebraska Kearney with a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and a minor in Psychology.
Esmeralda is licensed to practice law in Nebraska.
Outside of the office, Esmeralda enjoys spending time with her husband and family, watching movies, and traveling.
