Robert A. Mooney and Emily E. Palmsicno won a defense verdict following a week-long jury trial in Omaha, Nebraska in a medical malpractice lawsuit filed in November 2019. Plaintiff is a medical doctor who alleged that the defendant, a Board-Certified Radiologist failed to properly read and report on her chest x-ray, resulting in a 17-month delay in diagnosis of lung cancer. Plaintiff sought damages of $5 million.
